During the third quarter of 2022, the leading navigation and maps apps in the Netherlands demonstrated varied performance trends. Here, we delve into the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user statistics for Google Maps, Flitsmeister, ANWB Onderweg & Wegenwacht, Waze Navigation & Live Traffic, and Google Earth.

Google Maps maintained a consistent download rate, peaking at around 36K in early August before experiencing a decline to approximately 15K by mid-September. Weekly active users showed a slight downward trend, starting at 3.4M and ending the quarter at around 3.3M.

Flitsmeister saw a stable performance in weekly downloads, with a notable peak of around 24K in early August. Weekly revenue displayed a gradual increase, reaching approximately $16.5K by the end of September. The app’s active user base fluctuated slightly but remained around 200K throughout the quarter.

ANWB Onderweg & Wegenwacht experienced a steady decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 14K in early July and dropping to around 7.7K by the end of September. Active users also saw a decline, beginning at 32K and ending the quarter at approximately 29K.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had a stable download rate, with a peak of approximately 12.9K in late July. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 550K to about 517K over the quarter.

Google Earth maintained a consistent download rate around 5.5K to 5.9K throughout the quarter. Active user numbers showed a downward trend, starting at 58K and ending at about 53K.
